The Raging Pepperoni |

Twenty minutes, a good friend to share lunch with, and a very delicious pizza certainly made my day when I visited one of Sumter’s newest and best pizza restaurants, Raging Pepperoni. Located at 1093 Alice Drive in Sumter, Raging Pepperoni is placed where Old School soups and subs used to be. Although the building is not new, the interior of the restaurant was quite modern and a family friendly environment, including an arcade room in the back. With a large number of different items, including their pizza, Raging Pepperoni has quite a variety when ordering. From pizza to cheese sticks to Buffalo wings, all of which are at a very reasonable price, I was not certain what to get. In the end, I chose one of their specialties, a medium “raging pepperoni” pizza, which is loaded with extra cheese, a very tasty home-made sauce, and a ton of –you guessed it- pepperoni. The pizza was approximately $10.70, and with tax and two large bottled drinks, the total was $15.75, which, to me, is a great deal. The service was above average, with very friendly, helping employees seeing that we were enjoying our meal. Although not very busy at the time, I would guess that in time, this restaurant will be booming with business. As an added bonus, you don’t always have to sit in and dine, as they deliver as well. If you’re looking for a good time with friends over great pizza, then Raging Pepperoni is for you, if I must say so myself. |
